How many of you have been told, your repair will be fixed within 10days and returned to you as soon as possible?
Before I sent my drone in after a crash I contacted support threw their 818-235-0789
After being placed in que for about an hour I was able to talk with a rep.
He was very helpful talking me threw the return process, he reassured me that this process will only take 10 days to get fixed
I was very excited to hear the 10days and let him know I just started a business and have clients lined up in a few weeks, he again reassured me
Saying this process would only take 10 days and he would make sure my my drone was back to me within that time frame.
Well then reality set in.....first, their prepaid UPS is extremely slow, took 6 days from MN to CA.
Then after it was delivered it took another week before they "Received" my drone on their timeline
After being received it took only 2 more days before it was "Damage Assessed" another day for "Quoted"
After being emailed a bill after DJI Care told me this was covered and I would not have to pay anything,
They billed me $99
Now in limbo for them to repair my drone and send it back,
I've called Support 4 times, given reason for delay was they are back logged or its because they moved locations.
A "Supervisor" had called me a few times, saying he would give me free next day return after my drone is fixed
Free next day return and he would make sure my process would go more smoothly? Right.
Moral of the story, if you need your drone back fast, do not use DJI. Doesn't matter if you bought the Care Refresh, it's still very slow!
