Newbie here. Can someone please explain to me what the logic is on the video and photo storage on the Mavic? It seems there is copies of videos and photos stored on my device as well as on the drone. Is the version stored on my device just a lower resolution version of what is on the drone? Is everything that is on the drone stored on the device?

The videos/photos on your device are just the cache of the original item in the microsd card inside the drone.

can be more...depends on how much you record, you can set cache limit...and autocleanup or you can disable cache record
