I have heard mixed things about 7.0 and dji go. My tab s2 wifi model works nicely. However I have to plug the rc in then turn it on before it will launch the app. Perhaps nougat will stop this, and I'm a bit ocd so the update notification is distracting me and it can't be removed. But, perhaps it will be unusable!

Definitely not. Nougat will get the DJI Go 4 App to crash... That's been my experience with all my devices upgraded to Nougat. I had to revert to use older phones that were not updated and still running MM.
