I, by no means, endorse this organization yet because I haven't studied it enough to date.

Above said, I think it might be wise for us to look into organizations which might be a "sensible-voice-of-numbers"...i.e. with the inevitable drone, UAV, and UAS regulations to come. These regulations will probably affect all of us... in one way or another.

At this point I'm not ready to declare (to myself) which organization(s) this should be. You tell me.

I merely open this up for discussion and input, since being proactive in the above described process is probably better than the alternative of staying silent and having no unified "voice".

I'm confident your thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated by all.

There are a few organizations out there. It's a great idea to have a look around and choose one that fits you personally. As rfrye said, there is power In organized and educated numbers and unified voices. We need to help shape the new FAA regulations so the end up helping and not terribly hindering, our sport, hobby or profession.
