does anyone else get confused by all the fansxxxxx usernames?   

It is very confusing. Those are automatically assigned.
I can't remember how it was when I signed up. I was too exited about my new drone.
And till today I don't know why I am Eric13. But I quite like the name ;-)

i kept seeing all the issues this fansxxxxx was having, and was thinking....wow, this pilot is experiencing every issue possible......maybe he/she should try another hobby ! lol

When you sign up it makes these random names.  You can change it by going to your personal homepage located on the upper right hand corner.  It's hidden in the blue circle with the drone.  From there select settings on the left side and you can assign your new user name.  I guess a lot of people don't know that it can be changed, but I put it there for future reference.

If you leave your username the same as the email that's used for the forum, it will generate the 'fans' username as default.

If you change to a "nickname" and insert a thumbnail you will be more recognized.

The most generated numbers after the fans nicks are hexadecimal but this community does not have a billion members.
