New wheel on transmitter won't lower or raise camera

First flight today with my new P2V+, V.3
The wheel on the left rear of the transmitter is supposed to control the camera's up/down movements. It doesn't do anything. I tried it both on the ground prior to flight and again whilst the bird was in the air. Nothing.

Previously, these movements were (supposedly) controlled on the left side of the window in a vertical scroll of the DJI Vision app. I tried that several times and that doesn't move the camera either. The left stick on the controller does move the camera left and fight, but not up/down.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you recalibrate the X1 channel? Does the X1 channel move in the Assistent software? And in the Software you should set the horizontal and vertical limit to 0. Hope this helps!

Hmm, I have the radio connected to my laptop. The X1 channel doesn't seem to work. should I have the Phantom turned on?
There's only one micro USB connector though, and it's now connecting the radio to the laptop....
--------------------------So I plugged in the Phantom to the laptop  (Duh...)
and on the Phantom RC Assistant software, the X1 channel was black and all the way to the right. After recalb, it's turned green and is centered. And now the new wheel does move the X1 back and forth, and..... the camera DOES now move up and down!
Thanks, again.

Any idea what X2 is for? It's black and not quite all the way to the right.

And I'm not sure where to set horizontal and vertical to zero. Maybe now that's not necessary.

Its one of the S1 S2  switches you need to test these regularly as they do fail.

Cheers

When you are at that page, just put your mouse on the X2 and it will tell you to the left of the page what the X2 is used for.
