Hi DJI,

I've managed to upgrade my firmware on my Mavic Pro 0900 as well as on my RC. After that the RC won't connect to the AC, no matter whether I try to bind in the DJI GO 4 app or manually using the C1 + C2 + Camera + Shutter methods.

Have you also upgraded the RC? Please check the firmware version via DJI assistant 2, make sure the drone and RC both are up to date, then try to re-link them again. If it is still the same, could you please post a short video about this issue?

For some reason, whenever I try to upgrade my Mavic, it stops and fails while upgrading the file to the drone at 20%.

What error message you've got when you are failed to upgrade the drone? For the issue, have you tried format the SD card? If it is possible, please upload a short video about this issue for better assistance.

The drone is in the RC mode, not the WiFi mode, right? Power circle the RC and the drone, try it again. If it is the same, I would recommend you send them in for diagnosis.

Brand new Mavic Pro update failed and killed the controller. It will not connect or link. $1300 brick without being able to fly it once. Customer support can't fix it. DJI quality is below poor

Sorry for the experience with our product, may I have the error code when you update the firmware via DJI Assistant 2? We'd love to help.

It doesn't give me any codes and now I can't even try to update again because the controller will not connect

Please update the aircraft via DJI Assistant 2, if it fails, please provide us the error code. Here is the tutorial video for your reference:

Downgrade and update between 1.03.0811 and 1.03.0350 that are now in the list works without problems.

I followed the instruction from post 424#

Upgrade to 1.03.0800 or 1.03.0900
Assistant 2 = raise up to 58% and switch then between 57% and 58% multiple times. After some time Aircraft reboots and then it displays "upgrade failed. Errorcode 0x020102"
DJI GO 4 App = Same as Assistant 2 but raise up to 75% and switch than between 74% and 75% and display after some more time "upgrade failed"

Now im stuck at 1.03.0811 on the aircraft. Is this beta version save to take off? or exists another hint to upgrade successfully?

Interessting: I can upgrade/downgrade my RC only between 1.03.0800 and 1.03.0900 but the RC fails with the versions 1.03.0811 and 1.03.0350.

Hi DJI staff, I also can't upgrade, fail at certain percentage. I don't know what's my Mavic firmware but the one targeted is 900.
Each time I'm starting up I have a message telling that RC and aircraft FW are not compatible.

My first Update-Try was with the DJI GO 4 App but it was the same as all the time with the percentage-problem. Would it be help to downgrad back to 700 if you can it activate for my account? with that version it was flying perfectly.

here a list what i have allready tried. I dont know how often i have now proceed the upgrades but it was offten 20~40times?!

Preperation:
- Format SD-Card with Windows and with DJI GO 4 App (with Fat32 on Windows)
- Reinstall Assistant 2 with allow install unsigned drivers in Windows 10
- Start Video-Record before upgrade to 800 or 900 (with and without)
- Tried 3 different PC's (unfortunately all with Windows 10 newest Version)
- Tried 2 different mobile devices (Samsung Galxy S7, Samsung XCover 3)
- Reset to factory defaults with Assistant 2.

Upgrades:
* Upgrade von 350 to 800, 350 to 900, 811 to 800, 811 to 900 (Only 350 and 811 itself update with success)
- Use DJI GO 4 automatical update on startscreen to 900.
- Use DJI GO 4 hidden upgrade/downgrade menu (See *)
- Use Assistant 2 with Firmware-Update menu (See *)
- Testet on Assistant 2 with and without connect phone to the RC
- Testet on Assistant 2 with and without RC
- Tried 2 different SD-Cards. The one that was shipped with the Mavic and a 32GB transcend Class 10

In the logs it always look the same as here (The AC reboots at 57% the first time... then few minutes later a second time and then it says failed)

As I told yesterday I can't upgrade the aircraft from 400 to 900 (stops at 76%) but as the RC is now upgraded I have a compatibility warning and can't fly !

It seems that you need to add a certain firmware in the account for this upgrade to be done. Please, do that for me ! For now, my brand new thousand euros drone is just not usable.

Is there any other way like preloaded files for the sd-card or older firmware like the 700 that was shipped with the Mavic?
Its a little bit frustrating because a so expensive toy that i can't use at the moment only through the recommended updates. On the shipped 700 firmware it flew without any problems...
