There is no need to downgrade the RC, RC is fine.
Please just downgrade the aircraft to V01.03.813, and then press the record button and update the aircraft to the latest version.

In my account at the moment there is only version 01.03.1000 to update the aircraft, however it presents the following error: Please reconfigure my account so that I can dowgrade the aircraft to version 01.03.813 so that I can redo the suggested procedure.

similar problem here...
After the upgrade to 01.03.1000 the mavic always say "firmware update required". The camera is working but I cannot start the recording anymore and change the mode from photo to video is also impossible. The mavic say "no SD card".

Please refer to the steps below to upgrade it via the DJI Assistant 2 again.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2.Upgrade the firmware V1.3.8.10 or V1.3.8.11 or V01.03.0813

Before the update v01.03.1000 the AC and RC were in perfect operation, but after this firmware the AC can not initialize the system, emits a constant beep and does not light in any light. The RC in turn can not connect the drone, although the DJI GO 4 application sends images from the AC and allows access to the other commands. That way after the firmware update v 01.03.1000 the drone does not take off.

Hi,could someone please explain the method a little further - how should I connect the drone to the pc / DJI assistant usb a micro usb? Then it becomes impossible to press record on the RC as it says "usb plugged"

Hi, hoping someone from support at DJI can assist. Am having problems  updating, and now have what appears like a bricked drone :O Attempted to  updated from v01.03.0200 to the latest v1000, and resulted in the following screen: "https://www.dropbox.com/s/2s4cr4ok7s2ag8j/update%20error.jpg?dl=0"

Now the RC will not connect to the AC. The wifi hotspot does not show when  wifi mode on the drone is switched on. I can reset the drone using  asistant and it says it resets correctly, but it still shows 00.00.0000  as the version number and no change to connectivity.

Really appretiate your assitance as am really concerned.

Power on the RC, drone, then connect your drone to PC, then start the DJI Assistant 2, go to the firmware upgrading page, you'll be able to record video. You can try to trigger the video recording via APP or the recording button.

Patrick, I am confused. We've reconfigured your DJI Account already. According to your previous posts, it seems that the RC is updated to V01.03.1000, the AC is stuck on V01.03.0813, right? If yes, please try to connect the drone to the DJI Assistant 2, then go to the firmware upgrading page, click on the "record" button, make sure it is recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest. Otherwise, please provide me a specific description of the current status and some screenshots of this issue for my better understanding.
