my issues are the exact same as this thread - RC can update no problem but AC can not - I only have options for 01 04 0000 and 01 03 1000.. remote can be set to either, but AC is stuck on the factory setting firmware, (.4000).

The beta is available. Please refer to the steps below to upgrade it via the DJI Assistant 2.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2. Upgrade the firmware V1.3.8.10.
3. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest one, it will be working.

hi, it has been almost 2 months since i am unable to fly my drone. currently, my dji assistant shows that the update is 100% completed when i select v01.04.0000, but when it reboots it remains at v01.03.0550. i have pm-ed Mindy on separate occasions but till date i have not received any helpful replies and especially not another firmware update (e.g. V1.3.8.10) like above which i am able to try. appreciate if other moderators could help out as i am getting pretty exasperated. thank you.

Sorry for the keeping you waiting. But if you had updated successfully without an error message, I don't think this beta will help you. For your case, I hope that you first check your current firmware version on DJI GO 4 app if you could connect the app with the drone and RC, it's on About of General Settings. If it does show V01.03.0550, please try to update via DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2, a procedure video is highly appreciated during the updating. Thank you.

Hi Thor, this is screenshot from my settings on the DJIGo4 app. I have been trying to update with an android (nexus 6p), iphone 7, and macbook, all to no avail. Could you at least send me this beta to try? Thanks.

I have Mavic Pro for 5 months, and everything was ok. I was ignoring the warnings about old version used, as I read on Internet a big problems that people have updating it. My problems started two weeks ago when I decided to update firmware to new release 01.04.0000 as I read so much about new abilities that it offers. But update  get stuck long time at 77% and than failed. The problem is that RC was updated to 01.04.0000 but mavic was left to 01.03.0400. So now every time when I try to fly I got message version mismached, cannot take off. I tried to update mavic separately with DJI Asistant 2 but without any succes. It stops at 44% for a long time and then failed by message: undefined 0x020106.
In DJI assistant I can't find version 01.03.0400 which is version of mavic, so I can't now even make downgrade of RC to firmware version of the mavic.  I'm desparate, as I can't fly any more. Please help!!!

OK I can try it again but same result before as I try 579#. RC is upgraded and only Mavic cant upgrade. I do it as  RC is connected to PC and upgrade is going thru RC connection to Mavic. I will see and let you know later. Maybe I try to do it with Mavic connection also. Will see.

It doesn't work. When I connect RC with mavic connected I don't get firmware list and Dji assistant tells me Cannot Load firmware list. Please Retry.  And it doesn't matter how much I press retry I don't get anything. Then I swithed off mavic and just for RC I got the list including V01.03.0813. Then I tried to downgrade RC to this firmware but it tells me update failed undefined 0x020103.
Afterwared I downgraded RC to 01.03.1000 and this was succes. Then I tried downgrade again to V01.03.0813 and failed again with the same error. So above procedure doesn't work.

Finally upgraded. I followed 579# but only notice I refreshed it to last version and push REC also after restart RC. Before I didn`t do it. Then upgrade to last version. It upgrade even SD card was full. I hope can help to other too maybe also need to write to support team and they can switch something in background only I guess because before this not work for me.

The firmware we provided is only available for aircraft, it has nothing to do with the RC.
What is the version of your DJI Assistant 2? Is it up to date?

Then My apologize I did not know that it is just for the drone. I'm using DJI assistant V1.1.6. and curentlly I have issue that drone itself cannot be recognised by my PC. I will try to solve the issue and  then I will inform you about result.

I was sucesfull in connecting the aircraft and PC and I updated it to V01.03.0813. Then I connected RC and aircraft pressed REC button and start update to V01.04.0000. It goes well till 67% then it stops for a long time, REC is aborted, I press  REC again, and this goes few times, then aircraft is restarted and thing with REC button hapends few time, and then message in DJI assistant  update failed with error undefined 0x020103.
I tried to repeat update several time but result is always the same. It stuck at 67% and then failed

You must make sure the aircraft is recording, we can only suggest to keep trying, if it still fails, the drone will need to be sent in for evaluation and repair.

Downloaded the Assistant 2 program yesterday.. So it should be the newest version.. Have upgraded the RC succesfuly.. The drown however can not be upgraded.. On Assistant 2 it stops at 44% in the Go4 app it stops at 70%.. I am very frustrated..
