Can someone please explain to me how to do the downgrading & upgrading?  I'm new and don't know how to do any of it.  I've tried upgrading thru the normal ways and it's not working. I only have a windows pc to do stuff on and have no clue what to download or do.  my email address for my account is  to unlock the lower firmware.  someone please explain how I use a pc to downgrade & upgrade.  thanks...

1. Connect it the PC and run Assistant 2, downgrade the firmware to V01.03.0350.
2. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to V01.03.0600, it will be working.

I'm extremely disappointed you repaired my drone after two months having it and you couldn't update my firmware. Now I need to send it back again for months to get a simple update? DJI needs to get their act together.

i have same probs as Post #16

"I performed the upgrade and it stuck on a different point.
I figured out the following:
    Update Mavic only via DJI Assistant 2: Stuck/Fail at 57%
    Update RC only via DJI Assistant 2: Always successful
    Update RC & Mavic via DJI Go App: Stuck/Fail at 74%
    Update RC & Mavic via DJI Go App, but longpress the 3-Bar Menu: Stuck/Fail at 79%"

Hello Natalie,

I haven't posted here before but thought i would see if i should hold up on sending my Mavic to DJI to have them update my firmware to latest one as i have the goggles on order and will need the latest firmware.
I am stuck on firmware .0550 and the drone flies fine.  I have tried everything I and DJI support can think of and nothing works.  Do you have any ideas that can help me update to the latest aircraft and controller firmware, or should i go ahead and send in my equipment?

The last time i sent in my Mavic for repair/replacement under DJI Care, i was without the drone for 5 weeks--something i would love to avoid if possible.

Natalia Why dont the engineers just reconfigure ALL MAVIC USER ACCOUNTS?? Why does each and every Mavic owner need to suffer this, and try contacting support (who dont know the answer) and waste days of endless trying and failing, and worrying about having to send in the drone.

You have a list of all Mavic owners, and you can figure out which users are going to have the problem. The user accounts have email addresses. You can send out an email explaining the problem, and how to solve it.

ProActive customer support instead of ReActive.
This will make customers happy, and save the DJI support staff A LOT of work.

Its still only showing V01.03.0400 as the oldest firmware for me for some reason.  shows the date it came out was on 3/2/17.  idk what to do since its not showing the older one in my firmware list..

@Natalia could you please assist. I've been on chat with DJI support for over 2 hours. We've formatted the SD Card through DJIgo and on my computer multiple times, reinstalled assistant 2 and still receiving an error when updating to .0700.

The RC controller updated to .0700 through assistant 2, but the mavic is still .0400. I just opened this drone last night and need it for my wedding this weekend. I DM'd my DJI account to you last night.  Please advise.
AJ is recommending that i send it in for service, which means i won't have it for my wedding!!

I replied your PM as well, after you downgrade it to V0350 successfully, press the "Record" button on remote or via APP if you're running the APP, you must make sure it's recording, which is a very important step during this whole upgrading process. At the same time, please start to upgrade it to V600 and V700.

Just came to say that Natalia's fix worked.

After downgrading the Mavic to .350 (the RC failed to downgrade), the upgrade to .700 after worked on both the Mavic and the RC.

Thanks for the help but I hope that we will be able to upgrade easily on the next update because if it does the same again that means that our drones are faulty.

That seems interesting, we've reconfigured it for you already, but you never got the firmware for 0350.
Just to verify, you login Assistant 2 with your account (Mattp000@Gmail.com) and the internet is great?
