@Natalia could you please assist. I've been on chat with DJI support for over 2 hours. We've formatted the SD Card through DJIgo and on my computer multiple times, reinstalled assistant 2 and still receiving an error when updating to .0700.

The RC controller updated to .0700 through assistant 2, but the mavic is still .0400. I just opened this drone last night and need it for my wedding this weekend. I DM'd my DJI account to you last night.  Please advise.

I just received your message, will help you handle it soon, please upgrade it again on Monday as the instruction below, it should work.
1. Upgrade the firmware V01.03.0350.
2. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to V01.03.0600, it will be working.

Just came to say that Natalia's fix worked.

After downgrading the Mavic to .350 (the RC failed to downgrade), the upgrade to .700 after worked on both the Mavic and the RC.

No worries, we'd like to try our best to help you.
Please provide me your DJI account,  we'll reconfigure it for you.
Then you can upgrade it through Assistant 2 directly, the upgrading method is the same as before.

I have the same problem. And after my last try, my drone now refuses to fly, giving me a NFZ Limit, even inside my own house. Before that I as able to fly anywhere in my town.

Still fails when trying to roll back to .0350

Just did a factory reset and donated sd card.  Well see if it works now.

Am i doing something wrong out is this software just a POS?

using assistant 2 on my windows pc (windows 7) connected to the drone directly using a micro usb cable.

Extremely frustrated here.  For the price this thing should nearly wipe my arse. But the only thing it seems to be good at is draining batteries.

Yeah... good news.. got it to .0350, now it fails uploading to anything.  
I give up.  !!!!!

Thanks DJi Natalia, you got me one step closer...but still three steps away.  
I don't have time to waste on what looks to be a life long pain in the ass peice of equipment.

I'll just return it to Amazon and get my $$ back and of course speak extremely highly of this product.
The only positive has been the help in this forum.

Wow, I'm really turning into a big whiny dork....

Just want to get the remote and the drone on the same level of software... can't seem to downgrade the remote, so only hope is to get the drone to .0700.  (currently on .0350).  will the different software levels make any difference?  So far I've noticed that with the remote at .0700 and the drone at .0550 it lost connectivity during flight a few times when I had never lost it when it was on .0400.  (man I wish I'd have just ignored the updates).

I know there are many others out there having the same bad luck updating software on the Mavic, so maybe we're all doing it wrong.  Can one of the experts post a process.  Or maybe someone who has successfully downgraded to .0350 and then updated to the current sw, post a "here is what I did" process.  Maybe I'm doing something out of order.  

Currently drone is at .0350 (had to reformat sd card, set drone to factory default to get it to roll back)
remote is at .0700, (but I have been trying to update the Mavic separately.... (if you had success, did you do it individually or have the remote connected to the drone?)

I'm using a windows 7 pc, running Assistant 2 software (which I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times)

Any help is greatly appreciated.  

Ok, been browsing through this long string of msgs and I see we should put the drone in record mode before the update to .0600.   
Will give that a try.

OK, I can stop being a whiner.  
After finding the correct process instructed by DJi Natalia, I am not at version .0700 on all pieces of the puzzle.

Glad to hear you managed to upgrade it finally.
Press the "Record" button on RC is a very important step during the whole upgrading process.

Hi Natalia. I'bought my mavic yesterday and i have got upgrade problems: it is not possible to upgrade to v01.03.06 or v01.03.07 !! At the moment version .550 is installed. Can you help me ? Do you need to modify my account ?  i send you a MP.
