I am trying to update from 400(factory default) to 700. @Natalia - Could you please help? I bought this drone 4 hr before travel to Hawaii for anniversary trip, Now i have been trying to fly this thing but it requires firmware update. I have tried Go 4 app and Assistant 2 software.  I have also tried to upgrade RC and Aircraft separately. The RC is on latest firmware and aircraft is on .400.

Hey All, I got the downgrade to .0350, and then upgraded to .0600 then .0700 (with camera recording) - now everything works great!  I had PM'ed @Natalia, went on support online chat, and emailed support to ask for the downgrade to be made available. Not sure which was the one that came through, but just thought I'd share that it might be worth contacting DJI through multiple avenues.

I also have problems with updating my Mavic. Bought it for 2 days ago, and untill now, all i have done is trying to update it, with failure every time...

I see @the forum that downgrading to .350 , start recording and then try the .700update will do the trick, could you make my account get .350 avalible?

Do i need to use the Assist 2, or can i use the app on my iphone?

I just received your message, will help you handle it soon.
Please do it step by step as instructions below, hope it works.
1. download the firmware to V01.03.0350.
2. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to V01.03.0600, it will be working.

I'm having the same issues.. But I can't go back all the way to firmware V01.03.0350 according to the DJI Assistent. I can only go to V01.03.0550. But i cannot go to V01.03.0600 or V01.03.0700.
Any ideas what could fix it?

@Natalia. Thanks I was able to downgrade to .350 successfully.

Just connect your drone to a PC with assistant 2 installed and upgrade it.
You can link the drone to remote and run APP to make sure it's recording.

Thank you for your assistance. I am now on .0700 version. Cheers!

What I did:
1. Turn on RC (without using the phone/DJI Go App)
2. Plug the Mavic Pro to PC and turn Mavic Pro ON (Make sure the RC and Mavic Pro are connected)
3. Open DJI Assistant 2. Click "Mavic Pro". Firmware versions will be loaded and you should see V01.03.0350.
4. Downgrade the firmware to V01.03.0350.
5. Once it's done, press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording (REC should be flashing on the lower right part of the screen controller), then start to upgrade firmware to V01.03.0600. Once done, upgrade firmware to V01.03.0700

Just bought my Mavic last week and haven't even flown it yet, been trying to update the firmware to 01.03.0700 but it continually fails.

I'm ready to return this thing, very disgusted that a $1000.00 plus drone will not take firmware updates

I just received my brand new DJI MAVIC PRO, and DJI GO4 said to me that i should make updates so i answer yes. And it was the beggining of the problems.  :-(((( It now cannot fly, and i haven't flew with it .

The updates did wrong, again again and again, at 78% the update goes wrong. The update makes my battery wrong. http://hpics.li/120e1d5

Now my mavic is totally bricked, i had some errors messages telling me that the firmware is inconsistant, and it can't install the new on the mavic (my 4G on cellphone is OK).
So i downloaded Dji ASSISTANT 2 on my computer with windows 7, and tried differents firwmares and again and again it didn't work. It fails after a certain % (60% or 78% or 68%).

Hello, my mavic is now flying well with 0.550, i had a message error but i don't remember it. I don't want to take the risk of brick my mavic again by a new try to upgrade, but i can do it if it's important. There is still my battery blocked in firmware updating.

It's done, please refer to the steps below to upgrade it via the DJI Assistant 2 again.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2.Upgrade the firmware V01.03.0350.
