Hello,

After a lot of tries and hours i succed to flash to 0.550 with DJI ASSISTANT 2 on USB 3. But it still goes wrong when i want to go to the latest, and my battery didn't recovering cause maybe i must succed to flash to 0.800 for succeed... Here is my DJI EMAIL :

I have the same issue.
Bought a mavic 5 days ago.
I was able to update the RC to .0800 but the AC , the update still failling again and again.
The AC is running the firewall .0400.

I tried to update to .550 or .600 or .700 and even the lastest .800 but nothing worked.
I stuck and it says "failed" after a while.

I tried solution DJI provided (with the REC button) but it still does not work.
And in DJI assistant 2, I don't have the option to downgrade to .350.

AC = .400
DJI assistant 2 = .550, .600, .700 and .800 (not the .350)

so, how can I update my AC from .400 to .800.
Reminder : the fix with the rec button have not worked for any update.

I have the same issue as many other people inside this thread. I bought my Mavic a couple of weeks ago and have only been able to upgrade the aircraft to version 01.03.0550. All other versions keeps failing. I've tried the app and Assistant 2 on my Mac. Nothing works and it's very frustrating.

I'm able to upgrade the controller to all new versions and it's now at 01.03.0800. The aircraft keeps failing and I've sent at least 30 reports via the reporting tools inside the DJI go 4 app and Assistant 2.

Can DJI Mindy or DJI Nathalie please help me with downgrading to version 01.03.0350? I want to try the last resolution to see if that helps me. My account email is sorenso (at) gmail (dot) com

Bit disappointed that a device of this price range has these kind of problems....

Hope if it finally upgrades, flying it will make everything ok... But so far i am getting a bit frustrated :p

Sent a request too. Had Mavic for 5 days now and wont fly it until I'm on latest firmware. Tried the above solution however without gaining access to 0.35 i tried on 0.055 got further (past downloading) and got to updating section. Crashed at about 70% though.

Hopefully hear from DJI soon so i can use this like i intended to this weekend.

I was on .400, now one version higher, that update worked.
The mavic flies with that, so i can get in the air.

Thought the request would get thru pretty fast, but so far.... i still don't have the .350 firmware available

weird that they dont just give every mavic owner acess to that firmware, now everybody has to request for that ...

Never mind recalibrating the vision system (5 minutes work) fixed it

Hi There.  Late for the big update party I see.  Same issues as everyone else.  I could update it to 0550 but I really want to get rid of the big red reminder, not to mention the joy of all that is in the 0800 update.  Email is gary42@shaw.ca  What do I do?

After a couple of days of waiting I finally got access to the magical 01.03.0350 version and started nervously to upgrade my aircraft according to the recipe:

1. Log into your DJI account.
2. Upgrade the firmware V01.03.0350.  
3. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to V01.03.0800, it will be working.

Step 1 was easy. Step 2 took about 2 minutes! (Wow that was quick!).
I then pressed the record button, crossed my fingers and pressed the update-to-01.03.0800-button. And guess what; IT WORKED like a charm Now I'm at the lates version on both my RC and aircraft.

Though this is the strangest firmware upgrade I've ever experienced, it worked!

I am extremely frustrated. Very upset to have purchased this stupid drone.

I have tried for over 12 hours to upgrade my mavic and nothing is working. The drone arrived on firmware 1.03.0400. Through DJI Assistant 2, I am currently on earliest firmware possible, 1.03.0550. I cannot update to 3.06, 3.07. or 3.08.

Success on the second try!  Holding back tears of joy...Sniff.  Can't thank you folks enough.  They really should make this less cryptic though.  Just leave 0350 on DJIA2 for all.

I'm having the same issues.
I can't go back all the way to firmware V01.03.0350
According to the DJI Assistent.
I can only go to V01.03.0550. But  V01.03.0600 or V01.03.0700 always Failed
Any ideas what could fix it?

I can say what I did. When the update stopped about 70% (you know the drill), I took out the battery from the dronning and put it back and started up. After some blinking and noise, it continued with the update. Success ... I did  the update again just to be sure ... everything works perfectly. Is now on the last firmware and the drone works perfect. I would not recommend anyone to do that, I just inform  what I did.

It seems like Mavic enters the hypernating during the upgrade, remove the battery and insert it again wakes it up again (Sorry for the extra note abote the subject)

WORKED FOR ME.

1. PM an admin : Mindy or Natalia.
2. they will grant you the upgrade 350 in your Dji account
3. downgrade to 350
4. upgrade to 800 by pressing reccording button before upgrading button
5. Enjoy!

Hi, Thank you DJI Mindy,

My Mavic is now successfully flying on .800 =).

I was able to flash in .350 "beta", and reflash behind first try with the latest .800 with rec mode ON, on the controller. All of this with DJI ASSISTANT 2.

Why is my Mavic showing .000 version? Controller will update but Mavic will not. This is after factory reset. Controller will update but not Mavic.

I've tried the .350 beta but again the Mavic won't take it. Funny thing is it will fly just fine even with the controller on .800 and the Mavic on .000. Please help I have probably 10hrs invested in trying to get this to work.

Please try to update the firmware with DJI Assistant 2, if fails, please provide the screenshot and your DJI account.
