Very interesting. Especially the jumping noodles. You can fast forward or cut unrelated shoot but keep the landscape footage in normal speed so we can enjoy the view.

Looks like you visited the Nishiki market area. I was in Japan for a week recently, I also visited that area and many others - I tried to fly in an open area near a lake (in the Izumiyacho area), but landed after 5 minutes since I was receiving "strong interference" messages.

I was getting good signal for most of the area during my visit except Dotonbori in Osaka, maybe cuz I usually take off in less crowded remote area

Its possible but not sure if its illegal, I try to stay away from crowded area and don't want to disturb anyone. So many places in Japan are drone banned, but its really hard to resist such beautiful scenery. Fly safe and have fun!
