After my upgrade I can't do a single stick motor shutdown. I'm assuming they changed this because some people may have been shutting their motors off mid flight.
I'm just checking to make sure this is part of the .17 upgrade.
Flew 4 packs yesterday on new firmware and single stick shutdown worked every time. Single stick shutdown will not initiate while you are flying and the flight controller is getting difference readings from the barometer.
Maybe try RC calibration as remote may not be seeing full throw of the throttle stick after upgrade.
If you turn the motors on, you won't be able to turn them off with throttle down, if you don't lift it. You have to shut them down with both sticks. Again, I'm talking the bird is on the ground all the time.
Yes, it was but, I have flown over this a dozen times before I sent the unit in to LA. I'll try another surface later tonight if you suspect that may be a problem.
