Can a GL358wB controller for phantom 3 4K be used to control a phantom 4 pro? If yes how do i pair them together. What range will i have over my p4p

The Phantom 3 4K RC is not compatible for P4P.
This only the answer, you can check on P4P FAQ section.....

The P34K RC is not compatible with any other aircraft outside of the P34K itself. The P4 Pro series can only use either a P4 Pro RC (mobile device connection) or a P4 Pro+ RC (built in screen/Go4 app).

As DJI Jamie said, NO. ONLY the GL300E: Built-in display device (5.5 inch screen, 1920×1080, 1000 cd/m2, Android system, 4 GB RAM＋16 GB ROM)  and the GL300F: Tablets and smart phones controllers are compatible  with the P4P PRO Aircraft.

Above post is correct, the P4 and P4P RC's are not compatible.
