Just a quick warning: My firmware update went well, no problems (although I didn't get the confirmation beep when finished, I just followed Dundee's chart and rebooted the AC and the SD card TXT file said "success".)

I had checked the bird for connection, camera, etc. And all was fine. I shut the bird off, then went to the Academy -> Simulator. Of course, I got the "Aircraft must be on" message.

I then turned the bird back on, and heard a noise after it finished booting... It was the landing gear raising!  Luckily, I had the bird by my feet, and I just picked up up quickly before it could crush the gimbal. As soon as I picked it up, it stopped raising, and lowered the gear again.

Just an FYI, might want to keep it close to you after the update. Not sure if it was the update, or something else I did, but the RC DID have the switch in the "up" position. Regardless, it's never done that before.

that's exactly happened to me after the update. i was fast though!
