I just purchased an anti-vibration replacement plate for my s1000 (the stock plate was damaged by the previous owner so it needed to be replaced anyway). I purchased overseas- there were two options I went with the significantly cheaper and from what I've read may be 1.5mm thick rather than 2mm. Now I'm trying to find the Emcotec 8x10 wire passthrough ( grommets) reference A86080 which are available from some overseas suppliers but shipping ends up costing twice the price of the actual item.
Really need a hard-core local parts and mod supplier.

Other tips I've read:

reduce the basic gains to 140 around
Avoid heavy lifting combinations ( 15 000 or 16 000 mAh batteries with a Z15 5D is less stressful than 20 000 or more capacity batteries)
Use a soft Attitude gain value between 60 to 90

make sure the compass / GPS shaft is not too long and is totally slope free

I bought a used s1000 which was lightly wrecked (actually worse than I first realized) - so bascially have rebuilt it completely making improvements along the way. I've done many test flights but the next step is to mount my MOVI m5 with Sony a7s. Also looking for suggestions for a good FPV and hopefully remote trigger for the a7s.
