Hi,

I tried to update the firmware on my Mavic pro, which results in an error 0x020103 if i use dji Assistant V1.1.0-2 on Microsoft Windows 8.1 64 bit.
If I use DJI GO 4 on Android 7 the upgrade process stops at different percentages (usually around 70%).

I tried both upgrade methods about 20 times with different reinstall/reboot sequences.

Please advise.

I am having the exact same issue. I've seen error codes 0x020103 and0x020106. I have been using an Android (DJI GO 4 app) and Mac OS X (DJI Assistant 2). I have been struggling with this all day and cannot find a way around it.

What version of OSX are you using? Are you using the latest version of DJI Assistant 2? 1.1.0-2 is the most recent.  https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... stant+2+1.1.0_2.pkg

I'm using macOS Sierra 10.12.4 and have zero issues upgrading/downgrading my Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 Pro.

This is a well known issue for some Mavics. Just stay at v01.03.0550 and wait for the next update. For some reason (nobody really knows why) are some drones unable to receive this update.

I have one of the affected drones to. But for me on v01.03.0550 everything runs smooth and well. .0600 doesn't bring you neccessary features to fly, so stick on the last working version and be happy until the post .0600 update is pushed out :-)

I downloaded DJI Assistant 2 1.1.0_2 this afternoon directly from the website.

what concerned me the most is DJI support told me via chat that i had a hardware problem, but i haven't been able to verify that anywhere else. I will downgrade back to .0550 for now and try again with the next upgrade!

There are tons of posts in this forum regarding this issue. This can't be a hardware fault, because there are no problems on every other firmware.

My guess is that there is some kind of hardware-incompatibility with this software. Maybe some Mavics have other gimbal-revisions, or other camera sensor-revisions, or maybe just a single chip which differs from the others.

I have the same issue and even tough support said to send it back, I decided to keep the Mavic as I can sense really poor knowledge by the support staff ( I felt like I knew the product much better than them..) and sending it to DJI will take who knows how long and who knows what am I getting back..so I downgraded to .550 and waiting for next version, if the new FW will fail I will then send it to DJI.
On .550 everything seems to be ok. I did a flight to 1.5km up to 400 mt high and no issues.
Also I noticed that after trying again and again to upgrade firmware now my Remote control is not anymore recognized by the PC (tried 2 PC) but works fine trough my android tablet, I am an IT professional and there is no way I can get the pcs to see the remote anymore... So I recommend not to insist..

Very disappointed with DJI quality of engineering and software support. After all these are very expensive devices which can be REALLY dangerous if out of control and should have PERFECT support, but they dont... Please keep an eye on the following threads:

Hi, i just bought a mavic less than a week ago and i have tried to update it to the new firmware and it will get to around 77% and fail or get to 92% and give me a error code (0x020103). Any help is wanted.

SEND IT BACK FOR REPAIR!!!!

I was one of the first to have the issue and the workaround which DJI will give you will lead to either your drone crashing or flying away. See my threads if you want to know my experiences.

Has anyone sent their drone in for a repair? Just curious on the time it takes to fix the issue and if there is any additional cost?

I have the same issue with mine as well. Cannot upgrade at all, either from the app or DJI Assistant.

Just to clarify, this beta is for solving the issue that has the same or similar error code when upgrade, may I have your error code, too?

Hi there, I haven't checked this before the last reply I gave you. Now the beta is available to your account, please refer to the steps below to upgrade it via the DJI Assistant 2 again.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2. Upgrade the firmware V 01.03.0813.
3. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest version, it will be working.

J'ai un très gros problème avec un Mavic Pro Platinum qui est parti et revenu 2 fois de "réparation" car il m'est impossible d'accéder aux commande de fonctionnement de la caméra video et photo. J'ai vainement tenter une mise à jour avec la dernière version V01 04 0500 mais à 92% le processus s'arrête et donne une erreur 0x020103. Impossible de m'en sortir et le service SAV est particulièrement nul. Je me retrouve à la tête d'un Mavi Pro qui m'a coûté 1800 euros (avec divers accessoires) et dans l'incapacité totale de l'utiliser. Il n'a fonctionné que 3 fois correctement quand je l'ai reç à la mi-juillet. Depuis il fait des voyages entre la France et la Hollande sans aucun résultat. Ils ont eu le culot de me dire que dans leur SAV ils ne s'occupaient pas des mises à jour...L'image produit à l'allumage de l'appareil est totalement floue et intermittente. Merci Dji

Se eu usar o DJI GO 4 no Android 7, o processo de atualização será interrompido em porcentagens diferentes (geralmente em torno de 70%).

Eu tentei os dois métodos de atualização cerca de 20 vezes com diferentes sequências de reinstalação / reinicialização.

Por favor informar.

Hi Thor and hell from France. I need your help. I just repaired another Mavic Pro (the 7 one). Everything is fine now except for the update. When I trying to do so I am getting 0x20103 message. My Mavic Pro version is 01-03-0500 the RC is 01-04-0500. I tried to downgrade with Dji Assistant but nothing is possible and update is cancelling after 75%. Would you mind to send me a beta to see if I can update it please? Thank you. Best Regards. Fab
