I have both app's on my iphone 6s, Really like the Go4 app and have had zero problems but I liked the Pano 360 option the Litchi offered so I purchaseded it. When I do the Pano 360 mode with 42 photos slected with zero wait time on shots it crashes the app at about 20 photos. When this happens and I reboot and connect the app/craft it will not control the Mavic. Once I RTH and cancel RTH I gain full control. I dont seem to get as good pictures through Litchi either however that could be all in setting since I just purchased it but It seems to me the tap To Focus isnt as good as DJI GO4 but again I just purchased the app.

Just wondering if any one has any input or preferences and why.

What settings are you using for 360 jpeg raw or both ?

I tried a free app called Hangar360 and it's pretty cool.

It might be, I have done both with p4p but never with Mavic , so try it with just jpeg see how it works, I would also suggest if you can use manual settings, but try it first no reason why it shouldn't work.

You could also try dronepan, it's a free app the guys who run it have a great forum on Facebook and are extremely helpful even if you never use there app, they will give you great tips..

Apologies seen it there, so they do stitching as well all free, looks good, how are they at stitching.

It actually looks really good and yes it's all free.
It's all done from the app and it uploads to their servers and does all the processing.
Try it out, it's pretty cool.

As for panoramic shots, I've done a few of those but just did them without the help of the app by yawing and taking multiple photos; I can do it almost as fast as the app probably would and have more control over the results.

There's also the DJI Ground Station Pro.

DJI Go, I'm pretty sure that if the Mavic crashed for any reason then it would not be covered under warranty with litchi

I'm open to trying GS Pro and have thought about it, but does it have a web-based interface equivalent to Litchi's Mission Hub? I couldn't find an indication that it does and trying to mark waypoints on a tablet (or smaller) device seems like it would be a bit of a challenge to do with any accuracy without a large display and a mouse.

Looks good, I'm using Lightroom for tidying up and autopano for stitching, all time consuming but works well.

Just wanted to touch on Litchi.... I've used it many times on my p3.  Works flawlessly.  Tried it on my mavic... half way through waypoint, the mavic got stuck in the air, and wouldn't go to the next point.  The app froze and 'paused' the waypoint.  Zero control over yaw and movement of the mavic.  I manually crashed the app, got into dji4 and cancelled the waypoint.  No issues with the mavic.  After that I tried the VR on litchi, and during flight, app froze, and mavic just hoovered... P3 works just fine.

I'm thinking that the mavic firmware don't talk correctly to litchi, so I've avoided it like the plague.  Long story short, If you wanna do pano's, you could always manually shoot your photo's using tripod mode, don't do 'both', either choose raw, or jpeg, but not both.   And personally I use Hugin, a free app on the computer (pc and mac) that auto stitches the pics for a beautiful pano.
