Few things to try ....

Create a new user to login with on the "DJI Assistant 2"

Hi NE_UK,
I did that, installed a fresh DJI Assistant2 on a new notebook, used a new User ID to no avail.
I'm gonna try it at work on my office notebook and see if it works.

Just to reassure the hesitant few who are lurking and unsure to upgrade or not (like me):
Have successfully updated my Mavic's FW from .600 to .700 with no major issues identified thus far (flew two batteries worth yesterday)... Fingers crossed.
Also had no prior FW upgrading problems with any updates of sorts.

Updated both Remote+Mavic on wifi via DJI app with iPhone 6s+ connected to Remote's short wire provided, took approx 20mins.
Sorry to hear about those stuck in updates, hopefully a workaround is possible!

Updated my Mavic with the new .700 FW using the DJI assistant 2 software on a Windows 10 PC. Everything worked great for me and did a quick test flight without any problems .

Also, I was able to launch the Mavic inside my house with no GPS and the motors started no problem. Did not show NFZ or anything else and took off jus fine

Yesterday I made some test-flights and wanted to turn off the anoying battery-warn *beeping*. I didn't get it working. Pressed the Power-Button several times but it still bothers me. What is wrong? Do I need to activate this via DJI Go App? Everything is on FW 01.03.0700 just checked this.

Hi everybody,

After many, many fails through DJI GO 4 and DJ ASSISTAN 2, I finally reached 99% too but with a better charged battery. I waited for 15 min before manually rebooting. When I restarted the Drone It said it was in 0700
For your information my RC was already in 0700.

The Power Button only cancels the warning for the Remote Control battery, not the Mavic battery.
You cannot cancel the drone low battery warning sound.

Updated yesterday from .600 to .700 with Assistant 2 on a Windows 10 PC connected to RC (and RC connected to aircraft) and the download took less than a minute, the installation took just 8 minutes. Fastest update I've ever seen.

Since it was rainy yesterday, no test flight here, but hopefully today I'll see what's improved about the drone, and which if any new quirks this update may have brought.

I was one of them who had massive problems to upgrade to .600. I tried over and over again and decided to stay on .550
But now i'm happy to report that i managed to update to .700 (almost) without problems. The first time i tried it failed on 51% but directly after that the second try was successfull.
No problems till now, ATTI mode inside works well

I agree. All controls should have the *option* to be inverted or have sensitivity changed to each users liking.

Well, after reading all the reviews yesterday on this forum and another one, I decided I would give it a chance. I updated AC first and the RC second. It took 22 minutes for AC and 12 minutes for RC to download, transmit, and update using Asst.2 on Windows 10. I use Android 5.1.1, Samsung Tab A6. The update process went smooth. After updating form FW.400 to FW-.700 and updated from App 3.1.3 to App.4.0.7, I made 5 different flights yesterday afternoon and used three different batteries. Before take off I checked all settings to be safe. Had to change the usual stuff in general settings and reset my max. altitude and distance settings. Also my custom settings for the RC from .25 to .18 left/right turning. All test flights were in P-mode, OAS were on first 3 flights and OAS were turned off for the last 2 flights.

What I experienced.... Powering up: RC>App>AC>Connected. No more NFZ warning which I did have when I tested FW.600 with app.4.0.6!!! The mode was ATTI until full GPS lock was acquired (less than 10 sec.) then P-Mode GPS 16 locked in. Home point has been set. It then asked me if I wanted to enter "fixed wing mode" before take off??. It did this on all five flights! IMO this was annoying, especially during pre-flight. If I wanted to activate FWM I know how to press C1 during flight.

First 3 flights > (OAS are enabled) Auto-take off > precise landing mode > Yes. Take off ascending at 1 mph to 19ft and then hover, nice and smooth no drift. I then took control and ascended to 97ft. Max speed was 17-20mph with aprox.10-12mph winds according to UAV app. First 3 flights went smooth with no issues other than a couple of weak signal alerts. Video link was good, longest flight was 10 minutes at12,244ft.

Flights 4 and 5 > (OAS are off) Auto-take off>precise landing mode>yes. Take off>ascending at 1 mph to 19ft and hover. I ascend to 180ft and throttle forward 100%. Top speed with OAS off was 27-28mph with a head wind and 32mph with a tail wind. On the 5th flight I activated fixed wing mode. Throttled up to 20mph and slowly released forward throttle control. In FWM the aircraft maintained forward speed consistently at 19 mph +/- .5. The 4th flight distance was 25,820ft and 5th flight was 22,074ft. I used RTH on all five flights and each time was flawless. RTH speed was a constant 22.5mph. At this point I would say (for me) everything seams to be stable running this FW .700 with GO4 .4.0.7 but only time will tell. Need to do more flying to see if I want to stay or go back to FW.400. BTW... Fixed Wing Mode is fun and nice for distance flying. Goggles may be next!

Two days ago, I went to fly my drone in the morning and I noticed there was updated firmware available.  I bypassed the upgrade as I wanted to fly instead of spend the time upgrading.  Later that afternoon, I upgraded the Mavic while watching my daughter fly my Parrot Bebop 2.  The upgrade was done from the app using a non-activated iPhone 6 Plus, interfaced via Anker 12" USB cable to the remote control.  It went perfectly, and I flew with the attached battery.

I am interested to see if I get any battery firmware message the next time I fly.  I have 5 batteries, so I will try another battery to see if it needs to be upgraded.

Finally did upgrade from .550 to .700 by shutting Mavic down after the 54% and first reboot using DJI Assistant 2.  I was using the same (old) account.

Problem with DJI GO 4 (version .7) remains.  On two separate Android devices (one is Nexus 7 II with 6.01, the other Samsung S5 with 5.01) both are non-stable.  At least once per flight.
Samsung S5 application just freezes and crashes but on Nexus 7 II OS goes into reboot itself.
I local video caching is Off, airplane mode.

Going to try DJI GO 4 version .5...

It's pretty much scary to loose video feed flying among trees.

If I may interject... Being it is a new Mavic Pro, you may want to set it up and fly it to make sure it is all good to go with no issues out of the box before updating the firmware. Just to be safe.

Under firmware .0600 I couldn't get a good gimbal calibration and when I flew my gimbal would be glitchy and have weird shakes in flight.  So I was one of many who had to go back to .0550.
That said .0600 would install for me without issue I just couldn't get good gimbal performance with it.

I am happy to report .0700 installed and no gimbal issue in calibration and no glitches in flight.  So for me .0700 is good.

Actually I think that may be an issue with Windows 10. Near the end of the update, the Mavic & RC are restarted, this removes the usb device from Windows but it doesn't reappear when either the Mavic or RC is restarted.  Switching it all off and then back on reconnects the usb and the update shows complete.
This can be a problem as in some previous firmware updates, the Mavic has been restarted a couple of times during the update and this problem can cause it to stall.

I updated my Mavic, RC, and the batteries updated (I guess the batteries did, since I didn't get a message on them).  Using "About"  on the menu I confirmed that the Mavic and RC are on .700 and my app is 4.0.7.   That's the good news.  The bad news is I took it out yesterday after the weather cleared up and after about 10 minutes the app disconnected.  I hit pause on the RC and positioned the Mavic at a point I felt it would be safe to bring back the app and then flew some more.  Home point stayed where it was at launch.  On the second flight it disconnected twice.  When I first got the Mavic I updated to .400 and all was well.  Everything since .500 has been problematic.
Phone:  Samsung S7 with android 7.0 plus May update; DJI GO 4 V 4.0.7; Firmware V 01.03.0700

Hi, I have been using the lower larger USB port with no disconnection if it helps your case.. I'm on Android 7.0 on my off beat ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe and switched off Bluetooth and Wifi but not mobile data so that the map is functioning.  I've had problems with disconnection with the smaller USB port ever since i bought the Mavic Pro.
