I do not know when I'm not tried and fly that way. But you can be sure your takeoff height should be +0.000000 meters as it is the reference for your flight altitude both in positive and negative directions.
Regards Leif.
Thanks to Landbo I have figured out what has happend and what is wrong. I am able to reproduce this phenomenon and this time I have used an iPhone 6S (DJI GO 4.0.8) to synchronize my flight-records, so you can not say it is an incompatible phone!
Following steps are neccessary:
- Turn on the drone.
- Wait for initialization.
- Move the drone a little bit around and place it on the ground again.
- Take-off.
- Sometimes this happens too, if you land your Mavic, immediately re-start the motors and take-off again.
Sometimes it happens that the drone records a negative startpoint – first failure was at "-0m" and the second time it happend (May, 13th) it has recorded "-3m" as take-off height. If a negative value your servers do a wrong calculation of the Top-Altitude. Now my Top-Altitude is around 7000 meters – Mavic can't achieve that height btw. Any moderator please pass this to your developers that they can fix it.
