Can I smooth out notches chewed into propellers by my cat.  Should I throw them out and buy new ones?

Risk the whole aircraft for the sake of a few props?

If you have a Target store nearby, check there. Target is clearing out P3S accessories. I bought two pairs of new props this week for $3 a pair.

By the way, cats are just furry little jerks.

blows my mind anybody even asks about repairing these any more. buy 3 or 4 sets and keep them handy. read the forum, plenty of accidents tied to damaged props being repaired at home.

3 to 6$ for props, or risking a $1k aircraft? I'd go with $6....

Just be careful that you don't start up the motors while kitty is chewing!

If you need to ask such a question, maybe you should ask another one. Such as "Have I got enough common sense to fly a machine that can injure a human being if it crashes due to prop failure "?

BTW, My cat did also chew the props on my Blade 350, as well as on one of my helis.. And she's still adorable.. I think she was just making sure it was not food ;)

Which ever is cheaper, new props, or a kitten... ;-)



You never have to feed the props, but that hungry cat needs to be trained.... Ha

Could have been worse, at least they didn't use it as a litter box. Props are cheaper than a new craft so new props.

Go for new props but tie the others to some string and then you cat can play with them to his/her content.

you lie! Like an old rug! ;) Mine too, they just love RC ;)

Of course. I just like to think they do. They do what they want when they want.  They seem to like chewing things they shouldn't have. At the moment it's cardboard boxes so we are safe .

How much does the cat weigh?

That might discourage future chewing, though most cats I've known don't seem to learn that easily.
