I did a 3D survey of the construction site that is now covering my old test field. I went through 2 batteries and got over 200 photos and 30 data points. Pix4D did a nice job. My flying skills are so-so when it comes to laying grids....I find it easier to fly in a straight line quickly...but slow flying is more difficult because the sticks and my skills do not blend well. This is a job more for waypoint ability or a faster recover time for the camera....like every 2 seconds rather than every 5 seconds.
Hey Pete, Looks good. You can adjust the exponential of your sticks through the app. You can set it up so the are softer in middle and as you give more input, the bird reacts more. This is commonly used in flying regular R/C as it helps one to fly more smoothly.
Thanks eaglecook....I have tried adjusting the exp. But it hasn't helped me. My biggest complaint is the sticks are not stiff enough for my elderly fingers. I never liked mushiness in sticks...nor in steering. I'd like to stiffen the sticks....but there is no way I'm going inside the
Rc. I did get one suggestion that I will try. Switch to F and fly course lock.
