Its because you are over a matress that is absorbing the sensors signals.

I had this same issue with the p4 over carpet with heavy padding under it.

Perhaps you might try turning the RC on before the Mavic which is the correct way to do it.
Without any text with the video, hard to tell what you are trying to demonstrate.
