Battery has about 15 cycles on it, ran down to 20% yesterday. Got home today and plugged it into the charger and it refuses to charge, it blinks the 1st LED repeatedly. Can anyone help?

Just to clarity,  LED 1 or LED 4 ?

LED 4. Drone powered on normally reading 3.68V and 16%. I left it for a couple hours and it seems to have fully charged.

thanks, very bizzare as the battery was at room temp.

Please help to confirm, if it is the LED 4 blinks twice per second, if you charge the battery right after flying back, it might occur. So please cool it down first. And if the battery temp is too low, please place it in a warm place to warm it up first.

It was LED4 and after a cool down, successful charge.

Same issue. I bought two batteries from Amazon. DOA. Would do nothing, so I returned them. So I'll be smart now and order from a completely different source, Ebay. Out of box, first led blinks constantly. I am beginning to think that DJI and Crap are synonymous with each other. Looks like #3 is going back to the PO as well. Does anyone know where to get a good battery?????

Just got my fly more combo in today.  The battery that was on the mavic charges just fine.  Neither of the extra 2 batteries will charge.  Have you found a good batteries yet?

Most Modern Batteries have thermal protection against charging while overtemp, especially since high drain devices tend to generate a ton of heat while discharging rapidly, Mavic included.  The thermal sensors are inside the cell, so frequently they won't be satisfied as soon as the plastic cover is cool to the touch, and it'll take a while, sometimes an hour for them to cool to where the charger can build up voltage without adding damage to the battery.  Charger knows best.

Carlo, sorry to hear that, is the battery brand new? If yes, please try to charge more than 1 hours to see if there is any response just in case the battery is in sleep mode during the transportation. If still no response, please contact our support team to start a ticket and send in for further asisstance.

i just plugged it for 3 hours, still no response. the battery, that was in the drone is working fine, just the two extra batteries are not working. so it is not aabout the charger or the outlet.

Just had the same problem with a brand new, out of the box battery. I just left it at the charger (without hub) for a few hours and the battery charged just perfectly. I read in this forum that there is something called "sleeping mode" which the battery is in when it's sent out. Maybe this caused the fault in my case.

Yes, the battery may be in Hibernation Mode during the transportation, charging for a few hours would awake the battery, please let us know if there is any other issue.

Two weeks later; Same issue! What happend so far:

Went back to the store. They opend a new DJI Mavic Pro Combo-Box. We tried out the batteries, same issue with the extra batteries!

Then they ordered two extra batteries for me (extra battery in a separate box). i picked them up yesterday. one of them is working, the other is not! means i have to replace it AGAIN!

This issue is REALLY annoying. i now have to replace it for the THIRD TIME!

Hi there, please try to fully discharge the battery and charge again and see if it can be charged. If the issue persists, you may need to send the battery in if it is within the warranty period.

I have 2 battery for phantom 4. When I charge it, one battery flashed green on the 1st led (furthest from the button). And the other blipping 3 times a second in the 4th led. Both not charging. Anyone know what happen?

Hi there, LED blinks three times per second means the charging temperature is too high, did you charge the battery after flying the drone? If yes, please wait a moment to try again, thanks.

Put mine in fridge for 30 mins. , now charging

Wow I thought I was the only one.... also bought the fly more combo couple weeks ago , I got 2 battery that don’t want to charge

I have a dji spark it fell into the sea, but the battery is still blinking and it has been a week

Hi there, sorry for the crash accident, so the drone has been retrieved right? Do you mean the battery has been blinking for over one week? Were the drone and battery still under warranty?

Yes they are still under warranty and i got to retrieve it. It is now two weeks and the battery is still blinking. I cant find any info on that

If the battery is still under warranty, it is recommended to send in for the diagnosis. Since the battery was water-damaged, please put it away from people and wait it to be turned off or please contact the battery specialist for better suggestion.

Hi there, sorry for the troubles with the battery, please put the battery in the room temperature for a while and then charge again, if the issue persists and the battery is still under warranty, please contact our support team www.dji.com/support to start a ticket and send in for further evaluation.

Greetings, it seems this posting devolved into other issues and there was no answer to the initial issue of the battery not charging and LED1 blinking repeatedly.    Is there a solution for this problem?

I have the same problem.
Led 1 flash 16 flashes (3per sec) and then completely off for 10 seconds and then again all over again.
It was like this for a couple of hours and nothing!
I lost a mavic pro and just bought a new mavic platinum (because I wanted the ability to use all my other stuff) just open the box and this is what happens.
Please help me I'm on a trip abroad and really want to use it.

I have the same problem but my First LED is blinking what should I do

I have the same problem with the 1st LED flashing every time I charge it and I can't seem to find an answer on what to do can someone please help.
