Are they going to make a foldable Phantom? Maybe a scaled up version of the Mavic?  I have both Phantom 4 pro and Mavic pro and I am using the Mavic more because of the portability and the stability in high wind.  The camera on the phantom though is very good.  So what do you say DJI?  Is there a chance?

I'd be happy with one that doesn't just fly away or falls out of the sky.  . I think that covers about 80% of all the incidents that people have to send their quadcopters in for.  That way they can reduce their customer service staff in order to keep the same level of customer service as we have today.

I'd feel safer flying phantom in high winds than the little mavic pro

If you look at the flight data and read reports, you'd see that flying away and falling from the sky is very rare.
Operator issues cause the overwhelming mahority of incidents.

I have flown all three the same day and the wind was blowing about 12 mph.  The phantom was just not as stable as the mavic and the inspire pro.  The only problem with inspire is that i was only able to fly for 12 minutes.  The mavic was stable and flew for 23 minutes before it got to 20% battery.

Yeah I was just joking about that.

I can imagine the Mavic being more aerodynamic than the bulkier phantom and inspire.

I don't foresee this being a possible design change in the near future.
