The DJI Go stays in portrait mode even after connecting to the camera. Currently using a Nexus 6P on Android.

Do you have your Nexus 6P set for screen rotation?  

Did you enable the auto rotation on the nexus or not?
What OS version is it?

Yes and Yes. I will reinstall and see what happens

I'm experiencing this same problem. Running latest dji 4 app with Android O on Google pixel. what os are you running?

Same issue on google pixel XL phone, using the pree P4 software. App stays in portrait, making it useless. Another weekend of flying ruined by untested releases of software and/or required updates.

I'm having the same issue with the Pixel.  There is always some sort of problem when I try to get this drone in the air. Just updated the firmware too.  Any solution DJI?

Why ask DJI? It is a problem with your phone.

What Go App version you have installed on your phones?  GO before or sience P4. The Go V4 is not compatible to the P3S as i know.  Do you enough free RAM in your phones? All back round tasks killed yet?
Phones are in airplane mode or not?
