Hey guys. I have been having this problem with the DJI Go 4 app crashing mid-flight. I was searching around the internet for a solution but I could not find one. I contacted DJI support but they just told me to refresh the firmware on the drone. That did not help at all. While I checked on Youtube, I found this video by this channel that is not very popular. The video actually solved the problem for me and that Is why I want to share this video with you guys. It was hard for me to find but I want to make it easy for you guys.

Another thing that i have noticed,i get crashes after i log in in my account from the app.

Tried that today, but still the app quits midair after about 15 minutes on Samsung Galaxy tab S3 / SM T825 with 7 on it. Cant find the Crash log on the SD Card either only error pop log. on the internal memory.

I have tried all these settings when I was on K1.
I tried different combinations of those. I spent days on researching/trying.
I started with Nougat and went back to Marshmallow, it didn't make a difference.

Finally I found the solution:
Ipad Mini 4...

If you're using a phone and not a tablet, try uninstalling the Go app and downloading it via the QR code on your Phantom's download page.

We do suggest you to use the device in our recommended list to ensure its performance.

My dji go 4 app crashes also. Very annoying but dji doesn't give a sh.t It is always user problem. F..ckers, fix this issue.

I also have the Redmi Note 3 Pro, Android version 6.0.1.
Yesterday, I've done a flight without any crash.
Today I've made the Mavic Pro update and now when I'm connected to the drone and are in the main menu (with the video, map, ..), after 5 seconds, the app crash. Trying to get back to the app and same issue...

WTF DJI are you doing ? We paid $1200 a drone and the app sucks !!
I will return back my Mavic to Amazon and get refund !

I also am having the app crash in flight as well as even when trying to look at my cash vids. It’s very scary and frustrating because I’m traveling and don’t always have access to cell or WiFi services. I use the iPhone 7+  I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it’s still a problem. This just started a day ago for me. It has worked fine in the past.

App crashes on every Android device and the release of the 106 firmware grounding tons of P4 like mine.

I feel as though DJI is actually working against their customers at times.

They want you to buy a Crystal Sky monitor (which also runs on Android BTW).

Same here, just purchased a Phantom 4 Pro. On Galaxy Note 8, and Galaxy TAB A 8, the app will crash about every 10 to 15 minutes.

Since DJI seems to favor Apple, I'm considering returning the drone before it's too late to get my money back

Yes, i believe you are correct from what I'm seeing

DJI proprietary greed is going to be their downfall, especially with the other drone manufactures catching up with them in the market
