I got a P2 + H3-3D combo and noticed that the damping unit (upper) is different from what I usually see on H3-3D photos. Also googled for this part and it's supposed to be the H3-3D-48. I can't find any photo of a H3-3D unit that has a damping unit same as mine. I'm not good at mechanics, but it does look more rigid compared to the common one, was thinking that it may contribute to vibrations. I'm currently having jello issues.
Anyone else has this type of damping unit? Anyone from DJI can comment? Thanks!

ND filters did not really work for me (I have the same set of Polar Pro NDs), somehow it made the jello worse, maybe caused by too much counterbalancing. Below is my mod history, jello values are approximate. I'm using a Gopro Hero 4 black on the H3-3D.

1. 5 grams of counterweight with double sided foam tape / GAIN SET: 120, 120, 120, 200, 220, 220 - JELLO (100%)
2. 5 grams of counterweight with double sided foam tape / GAIN SET: 100, 100, 120, 200, 220, 220 - JELLO (30%, mostly throttle forward)
3. 5 grams of counterweight with double sided foam tape / GAIN SET: 100, 100, 120, 200, 220, 220 / installed FPV TX at side with Cloudspirit antenna - JELLO (50%, mostly throttle forward)
4. 5 grams of counterweight with double sided foam tape / GAIN SET: 110, 110, 120, 160, 140, 140 / installed FPV TX at rear with Spironet antenna - JELLO (100%)
5. 5 grams of counterweight with double sided foam tape / GAIN SET: 110, 110, 120, 160, 140, 140 / installed FPV TX at rear (change to firmer tape) and Spironet antenna - JELLO (100%)
6. 15 grams of counterweight with velcro / GAIN SET: 110, 110, 120, 160, 140, 140 / installed FPV TX at side with Spironet antenna / ND2 - JELLO (100%) + GIMBAL TWITCH (20%)
7. 15 grams of counterweight with velcro / GAIN SET: 100, 100, 120, 200, 220, 220 / installed FPV TX at side with Cloverleaf antenna / ND3 - JELLO (100%) + GIMBAL TWITCH (20%) + GRINDING NOISE
8. 5 grams of counterweight with outdoor mounting tape / GAIN SET: 100, 100, 120, 200, 220, 220 / installed FPV TX at side with Spironet antenna - JELLO (50%, mostly throttle forward) + GIMBAL TWITCH (20%)
9. 5 grams of counterweight with outdoor mounting tape / GAIN SET: 100, 100, 120, 140, 120, 120 / installed FPV TX (firm tape) at side with Spironet antenna / Damper 50 soft / IMU Cal - JELLO (50%, mostly throttle forward) no twitch
10. 5 grams of counterweight with outdoor mounting tape / GAIN SET: 100, 100, 100, 120, 90, 90 / installed FPV TX (firm tape) at side with Spironet antenna / Damper 50 soft / - JELLO (30 %, mostly throttle forward) no twitch

So I purchased the H3-3D-48 part and compared it with the damping unit that came with my H3-3D gimbal. The H3-3D-48 is made of metal (probably Alu) and my damping unit is made out of plastic. I also found out that the damping unit in my gimbal is the similar to the one that comes with H4-3D, based on the difference in height of the damper holder and the plastic moulding date wheel, they are exactly the same as mine. The H3-3D-48 is 10 grams while the plastic damping unit is 9 grams. This guy also has the same observations:

I'm installing the H3-3D-48 damping unit now and will test it at sunrise. I don't think this will solve my Jello issues but I'm hoping it does.

Just an update, replacing the top damping unit did not improve Jello.

did you try to balance the props to deduce vibrations?

yes i did balance the props and used 3 different balancing rods to confirm, balancing the props did not reduce the jello. what helped is using the softest damper (black 50) then reducing the ATTI gains to 90. however, there is still some jello when flying into moderate to strong winds and when filming in bright sunlight.

Did you try to use ND filter ND6 or even ND9 for sun light. this reduces the shutter and so the jello effect.
Try in the evening, if you don't have jello in dawn and overcast wether, then a ND in Sunlight will help!
