Just wondering if someone has a definite answer on what is the best number to have for both compasses?

50 or less if possible.  Anything in the green and it should fly fine though.  Yellow is still fine but I would cal it at that point.

I was reading your post and I want it to be sure because a lot of people gave different numbers as high as 400

Note compass 2 is the backup compass.  Compass 1 is used until it fails which fails over to compass 2.

You can see I got a cal here of less than 50, but it sounds like you already read this:
