Just saw an article on CNN taling about Spark drone.
It mentioned that:
The Spark can fly as high as 98 feet (Whaaaaaat???)
and can sense obstacles from up to 16 feet away. The drone can fly for up to 16 minutes -- the longest flight time for a drone this size, according to DJI.
All of that info is accurate. The only number that's a little varied is the height which is at that limitation using your phone. The battery life and sensor numbers are accurate.

If i were you I would go back and read the specifications on DJIs site...help yourself a little.
I read the specs and there is no mention of the height, only distance and using the remote, which doesn't come with the Spark. if the distance and the height would have the same range than the CNN report is correct because they are talking about Spark and NOT the fly more combo which doesn't include the RC.
So that is why I wanted to get some clarification from DJI.

There are NO fake news... They were talking about Spark, without the controller, which is correct it only goes up to 98', unless DJI can say we can go over 98' without the remote!.

Well then that's accurate because your phone would be transmitting different than the RC which is why it's limited.

Correct! I found out about it after I ordered so I changed my order to the fly more package so I can have the remote.
