How will the Spark connect with the DJI Goggles. Will it be wireless or HDMI Lead ? Will the touch pad be able to control the Spark ?

Pretty sure I read it was USB to the controller, same as phantom models.

That what I read as well so apparently cant have your phone connected as well as the goggles, which is a shame. It would be good to have it as a backup if you flip the goggles up you still have the normal setup. I am waiting for the Spark and Goggles now so it would be good for DJI to confirm how exactly this is going to all work...

Yes I agree. I have both on order. My big worry is that I might struggle to see the goggle screens clearly with my glasses as I can't focus up at very close range ??

USB to the goggles sounds strange as the connection from the Phantom controller to goggles
is an HDMI connector ??

I was able to fly the Spark yesterday (July 16, 2017) using a $50 vr headset compatible with Google Cardboard (Homido 1) and a $20 app (3D FPV) from the iPhone App Store.  Flew FPV like a charm for under a hundred bucks USD.  It's a poor-man's FPV, but it worked like a charm.
