If it was waterproof, DJI would be in another category - Flying Submarine Drones.

Hi guys my spark was unfortunatly catched by a buzzard. He let it drop when he hit the propelers with his talon and it felt in the water.. Fortunatly he sunk only 30cm deep and lights were on. It take it from the water after 1 minute and I remove the batterie completely broken but still runing. After that I put it 24 hour on the heating (28 degree). The next day I plugged my spare batterie and I removed 2 broken propellers. He was working perfectly !!! (It was chrismas again for me this day) so I hope that my shared misadventure may help you..

although the manual does not say it is, it really is! all drones made by dji has an exterior shell to protect the onboard equipment. I meant to say that it will not easily be brought down by rain. I advise you to not use it near wet areas since the camera itself is hard to replace and the warranty will not cover it. you might have to pay extra.

It’s not waterproof and I’m sure most are aware of this.

It's very slightly resistant to water but is not waterproof - land the Spark in a lake and you'll be shipping it back to DJI for replacement.

Very true but if it suddenly starts to rain during a flight then there is a good chance it will come back and be perfectly fine but yeah, never take off in the rain or if rain is even forecast.

Not waterproof but I sent mine up in light rain and snow yesterday. it was too much of a shot to miss.

I admit it might not have been the best idea but sometimes you just have to.

Not waterproof,, flying in rain, moisture will not bring any immediate faults,, however over time corrosion will slowly set in and this will be noticed..

True I've got some Silica Gel Sachets in the bag I store it in and going to change them never few weeks to keep it as dry as possible. Over here it's always wet so it's going to get damp in any weather. Not sure if it will help but worth a try

Great video...glad it worked out for you.  I've heard bagging it in breathable cloth and submerging it in rice also works in getting the moisture out.

I've seen a test where the spark was flown in heavy rain and not expected to survive but nothing actually happened and it flew just fine. Not sure about the long time effects though :-)
