I'm 19 yrs old.

I purchased this mainly because of the amount of technology which was packed into such a small and portable drone. Portability was really important as I plan to take this on my travels and holidays.

Good job it's a nice piece of kit, hope you enjoy.

I'm surprised about the age groups. Especially in the UK where the prices on eBay are just ridiculous. The funny things is that people are buying the Spark on its own for £600 and the Fly more combo's for upwards of £899. A couple of sellers are over £1k - Mavic/Phantom 4 costs. Do these people not understand they are being ripped off and that there is an actual DJI site they can order from. Yes, I know there is a waiting time - just like the Mavic but maybe its just down to stupidity or the immediate need to have a new toy. I'm 47, have a P4Pro and am still considering the Spark for holiday use as its so compact. Mummy and Daddy need to research before little Timmy or Tammy get a drone.

I know £600 10 minutes out of the box and bang into a tree , £60 a minute. Lol

I'm 63 had a Hubsan 501s but sold it and have the Spark combo on order, bit worried about troubles some are having but from what I've read on old posts Mavic had problems but most were resolved with firmware updates, joys of being an early adopter I'm afraid.

H501s think you will find spark a bit easier to fly and in sport mode it's crazy fast it's a good bit smaller but very sturdy.
Enjoy.

Yes it looks good fun from the 1000 videos I've seen while I wait for mine.

H501S was also my starter. Got some solid footage and images but once the jump is made - WOW!! What a difference in everything. I have the P4PRO and that is amazing. The Spark is def on the list for holidays as the Phantom is a little large to lug about. Just wish the UK would start getting order in as the holidays are fast approaching. Just out of interest, what wait time are you getting for your Fly-More combo,??

The quickest you will get it is direct with dji they are advertising 30th June for shipping it takes two days to arrive in U.K. ,
I purchased first day wait was 3 weeks, no delays.

Cool. eBay rip off merchants a plenty and already told a few to get bent when I offered the asking price knowing they would not accept - spoiling for a fight at the time. LOL.

Stand by for when you get the hang of the Spark. The options after this are scary and the only way to go is Mavic or P4P/A. Good luck and enjoy.

I notice that the spark is more appealing to the younger crowd than the phantom 4's and inspire series.

I'm 30 and bought this for my 9 yo. She's already flown my Mavic with great results. Have already been corrected by DJI Forum moderators that the "SPARK IS NOT A TOY!" speech. Well, it is a toy because it serves no other professional service in my opinion.

I think it's a bit more than a toy. But a 9 year old with proper training from responsible adult , will be a lot safer than some of the adults I've seen around here.
Just remember you must always supervise and be willing to accept full responsibility.

I couldn't get an ETA for the combo so ended up canceling and buying the spark, controller, battery, prop guards, spare props and a case  separate. Off work next week so i`m going to get some practice in.

Just out of interest - How much was the difference in buying them all separate. Got mine yesterday and had her up last night as a tester flight. Quite impressed with how she flew. 40M up and a stiff breeze and about 200m away, a few images and not bad at all. Need the weather to change though as having a rainy couple of days in Sheffield.

I am 61 I own a Spark and this is my eighth drone. My hobby is photography  and in my opinion I think this little drone will give me more flexibility when taking videos and photos especially in confined places.

48 Budget wise can effort every drone, but just no 'full-time' use. Bought Spark just for fun and use sometimes. Rcvd first one 4 weeks ago and today fly more combo.. like to have RC and now also backup drone
