god that is so stupid, I assumed a video drone would record a video when you use hand gestures, but it seems it can't!

I'll return this drone, I can;t get WIFI settings to work properly, support is clueless with no fix and there are tons of basic features missing.

marketing gimmick, completely making customers look like idiots!

At this moment there is only an app update. The firmware will probably be here in a few days

No, you have to hold your arm beside your body and not in front of it. It is similar the Y gesture but only with one arm.

Gesture mode video, Don't think this is working yet, think we will have to wait for firmware or something, dirk52 did say that no firmware was needed to work it maybe he was successful. Or maybe dji will have new video tutorials. Man this stuff can make you look silly, also we now have someone shouting at us what's happening.

Was using trace or follow me it's much more active now, it actually attacked me twice have prop guards on but close thing.

Obviously, Spark has to be upgraded to new firmware for this new feature. We have to wait until it released one day.

The really strange thing is that iOS users doesn't see the new gesture.. Android user do. And normally Dji wouldn't roll out a new App and then no corresponding FW?
It looks like you need a new FW, but where is it? I still had no chance to test the 4.1.4 app. But the new FW will come,  Hallmark007 predicted it already for last week.

the new gesture mode for video is now working. to stop video recording,  do the same gesture. So in the video, the ending will always be you in that gesture pose.

Selfie gesture without follow me mode is working great for you? I can only get it to activate 1 out of 10 tries. What's the trick?

I took my spark out the 1st time today, tried gesture mode 4 times with 4 times activation, all 4 times I was facing the sun. I heard it might get affected if strong lights coming from behind you. But I'm happy with it with my 4/4... (except for the not auto videoing bit)

How do you do that - start ActiveTrack with a gesture? I'm not seeing it in the user guide

When you wave at it, it flies away (about 3m), then it is already on AT mode... I tried it today, it just follows with no problem at all (except for not taking pictures/video automatically.
