Greetings,

I am contemplating on purchasing either the Maivc Pro or Spark.

The noise level is a significant factor for me as I live in a residential neighborhood and would like to fly a drone just outside my backyard near night time as a hobby.

Spark, being a small drone, SHOULD be quieter given its size but I would like Mavic and Spark users to chime in with their opinion.

You know, if you ask your neighbors if its OK (not that you have to), I think you maybe pleasantly surprised.  Show it to them, offer to show them what it does, etc.  Regardless, its your property, and you can do what you want.  Also, no one owns the airspace, so your free (as long as your NOT in a NFZ).

I also do not fly in my neighbourhood or in my backyard. Just don't want to disturb the neighbour and their animals. But if you take off to 50m above immediately, I suppose, the disturbance will be minimal.

The wing spread should well enough told you which one is louder.

Here's one from this morning after a sudden mandatory firmware update to 1.00.0300 before I was able to launch it.  I don't know what I was thinking trying to fly the spark inches above the water right immediately after a mystery firmware update.   Not sure what was updated but gesture control seemed to be more responsive.  /shrug
