maybe someone or somewhere this has been explained. But I am just curious for the porpuse of those 4 gold contacts that the SPARK has on its belly.

They are charging contacts.  There is a wireless charging hub product that they showed at the launch that Spark sets in to charge.

You cannot find this accessory in the store but I believe DJI will release a charging dock for the Spark.

Looks really nice solution, apparently you can charge the SPARK with its battery and 2 more all in one solution. Would be nice if that dock could also work as a travel case, including even the remote.

Would even be sweeter if in that Charging cradle, there was a very large Battery to power up "in the field" Charging while the Spark and spare batteries were parked in there.  I know I'm wishing for a lot, but . . .

That it exactly what it is - a docking station to charge three batteries/carry case/remote, wireless charger. I will be buying once released.

The are charging contacts if you own the charging station...

They also,because copper collects heat well, help to cool batteries.
