What incredible creatures.

Very nice footage.  They are incredibly graceful creatures.  I'd be afraid that if I was flying over them, my  Mavic  be hit either by the water they exhale or the splash from their submerging.

Impressive video of awesome creatures.  It looks like it was raining lightly (spatters on surface of ocean).  It's reassuring to know that Mavics are somewhat rain-resistant.

Yes, it was raining. I was landing (in a small, drifting boat on my hand) when a whale showed up just off our port side. I figured it was worth the risk to abort the landing and go for the shot.

Great movie, but made me nervous just watching....water/rain/large mammals and Mavic! Reminds me of seeing Humpbacks of the coast of Australia nearly 20 years ago.
