Also be able to see what the obstacle avoidance cameras can see, or at least the bottom camera like you can with the AR Drone.

Same support for DJI Goggles as Mavic.

Preferably in 3D via the goggles since the drone can already see in 3D.

Instead of retractable landing gear, I would like a retractable camera, then it can have very short landing gear and would fit in a carrying case half the height.  The biggest issue I have with the Phantom 4 is the size of the carrying case.

+1 Not waterproof, but a little protection against water.

Zoom camera's are bigger, are often slower (i.e. let in less light), and the quality is invariable less than a prime.

Water proof it's easy...googel "wet-protect marine"  I tell..it works fine.

Best with emergency parachute n balancing floating landing gear..

Maybe instead of a zoom, a small interchangeable lens system.  Even if it only supports 2 focal lengths.

I fancy a 360 degree camera. I realize this would have to be an option as most will prefer a standard format 4K camera.

Otherwise, longer flight times would be nice. There have been some advances in battery technology in the past year which could allow for 1 hour flight times (imagine that!)

It would be nice to have a quicker method to download video files to my phone. Something like lightbridge for downloading files.  Maybe they could add "airdrop" capability to the drone.

Collision avoidance.

Being that most of us have flown into trees, rooftops, and walls, this would be one feature that would save us all the aggravation.  Have it so that even if you try flying into a tree, it stops before it get in.  Some have it now, but it's not sensitive enough. If you fly it fast 10-15 mph, it will not stop in time.

Just make it crash proof. Waterproofing would be easy as well. All you have to do is partner with a company like Liquipel. Voila. Fly in the rain. No problem.
