So I did the latest firmware update went out for some filming, recorded a bunch of stuff and when I got home and plugged the mavic into the usb cable, there is NOTHING in the DCIM folder.   The video stream cached on the phone and I can watch from there. Interestingly enough, if I connect to the mavic with my phone through the remote, it says the videos are there and when clicking "get info" on the card itself in my mac, it shows that part of the card has been used.......and just to get this out of the way. The card was formatted using the DJI go app, the card was working just fine before the latest firmware and yes, I hit record :-).  Based on my searching, this has happened to people in the past and formatting usually works. So I reformatted the card knowing that my videos would be gone, tried the camera again and made sure I had video on the app.  Reconnected once again and NOTHING. No photos, no video.  Anyone else having this problem after the update?

If you have a slow computer or USB connection then it can take a while to index that directory and show its contents, especially if the computer is busy with some other task. I'd restart your Mac and try again, but what I usually recommend is if your Mac has a SD card slot, to not bother with the USB connection and instead use a MicroSD to SD adaptor and mount the card directly. It's much, much faster that way and less fiddly with all the cabling.

And no, btw, I haven't seen that issue with the latest firmware update.

I didnt have this issue last night either. I am also running the latest fw .800. I took a bunch of photos and videos and everything was on the SD card when I plugged it on my phone and the Mac.

Tried it out on a different machine using an SD card reader and the files are showing up. So it looks like I may have deleted all my great footage of the Salt Lake for no reason. Haha. Oh well, lesson learned. Don't use the Mavic to transfer files from the SD card.
