I have tried everything for 3 days, I just changed FW back to 1.3.5 and nothing same error. Can anyone tell me what has happend, why I cant activate this?
things I tried I know everything works because sometimes when I start the app, it goes to the camera view and all controls work but the motor wont spin up due to the activation issue.

1. reinstalled the app countless times Iphone 6 Plus
2. tried using Iphone 5
3. tried multiple FW versions
4. different batteries in the aircraft
5. wifi mode
6. 2 different wifi conections and 4g
7. different email address
8. uprade and dowmgrades
9. 3 different cabels from RC to mobil device

I have the same problem, bought the mavic couple days ago from ebay ... The activation failed,  i went through the process over and over and same result. Need help, I purchased the DJI care .. hope to get  some help ASAP.

According to DJI it's a tempoary server glitch. They're working to fix this problem and will let us know as soon as the fix is released. Meanwhile, you can catch all the latest information in the more active posting here https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=99208.

I tried maVic pro Wi - fi and iphone 6 S plus wifi  ... it did connect but at the bottom a prompt says " NO internet connection " .. result = fail

Well I hope so, cuz I also bought a Fantom from Amazon, if it don't work its going right back...This is a gift for my son, Will also help him keep his paws off of my Mavic LOL

On Facebook, they replied to me and said, "Tyler, we feel sincerely sorry for the trouble you've been caused. We double checked this situation with appropriate department, and found it's caused by temporary server system glitch. We're now working very hard to get it fixed, will let you know once it's done."

Does your mavic work? Maybe try to see if yours works, and if it doesn't then it's probably on DJI's end, and not yours

If the DJI server is down, then you will need to wait (sorry)... Or you could try connecting to your PC using the DJI Assistant 2 software. Pretty easy to do the activation or FW updates

To The DJI engineers,
Is it possible to get a temporary software update  patch? As to let us as  new owners  of MAVIC pro to enjoy ( temporarry FLY without account activation )  this wonder bot for the time being, till all these glitches finds a permanent resolution.

Seems odd to me that if it isn't registered then maybe have it stay in beginner mode 30m x 30m and thats it. At least I can be learning,

DJI says they are sending me a shipping label to send it back and will be about 3 weeks till I receive a replacement.

This is a horrible experience for a the new Mavic owners. If i could call a " hype" that started back September 2016 .... watching  YOUTUBE of hundreds of happy mavic owners, crazy reviews ... all accolades, yup saved my money to buy this first DJI product ... and now it'll all ruinED some by a  possible " SERver glitch " ... Seriously bought tHe DJI CARE REFRESH it all went well ... but whats up now??  Completly frustrating .. and tell,  replacement would be " 3 weeks  - as per DJI " .. a mess i couldn't fathom.

Sorry, this is a strange case for sure. Sounds like one of the drone modules was corrupted during your downgrading process.?.

Ok .... I tried the DJI assistant V2 and downgarded the mavic  and remote, old software at a time .... even tried the WI fi - mavic to iphone 6 plus wifi .... NO ..  S*&^  LUCK ...homes . I believed the very server of DJI is messed up.

to be honest, I do not know why it does not show the activation for you. I used the DJI assistant 2 to activate my new goggles and it worked perfectly. Are you using the latest version of DJI A2 software?  I have hurt that some new products and features were added to the new version of A2.


Maybe they don't allow the Mavic or Phantom to activate this way??

Sorry you are having trouble, I really like my Mavic Pro.......   and yes, I had some trouble in the beginning with my new Mavic last Nov 2016

Saw your post and glad you gave us guide to look into troubleshoot the firmware part. I downloaded the dji assistant 2 from the main site upon seeing your post.

Most Bizarre ... i could even go get into my very DJI account using the very DJI app go 4  while plugged on mavic nd remote , and even do shopping with logged in on the very email actiavtion used ..

I could do that before...its a server thing, my son received the Phanton 3 today and NO PROB....flew it within 20 min...

I just got another Brand new mavic from a distant but local retailer this afternoon ... The new MAVIC works  flawless.  The first mavic i got 6 days ago .. is going back to the  original vendor.
