Mine shipped 2nd day air yesterday and this is what I am getting
Your Mavic Pro (08QDD) was manufactured on Wednesday, October, 12th 2016
My brand new one I sent in
Your Mavic Pro (08QUE) was manufactured on Tuesday, April, 11th 2017

Will have to watch everything on this since I don't know what it was sent in for. Really wish I had been thinking and just paid to get it repaired now.

What does this mean? After the repair is complete? How long does it normally sit here since it is being replaced and not fixed?

UPDATE: Couldn't link her with the previous link through DJI GO 4 app. This is a bit tricky and took me a couple trys but worked.
Turns out it later went into that registering thing where I had to register this thing. After that the linking button in Go 4 worked also.
NOT hovering very well in the house, its moving quite a bit even with no ceiling fans on. Will have to try it outside tomorrow if no rain.

I know this is a little off topic but was wondering if someone on the forum might have some info on this. if you look in the little bags that come with the mavic that have the other short cables, i think you should find extra clips

So basically, with you purchasing the extra DJI care option, you're looking at 3 weeks at a minimum to get your drone back, and that's considering that all this process is happening here inside the US, with expedited shipping on your part?  Yikes.

They had it for about a week and a half. The other week and a half was shipping time. I am not sure that is all that bad.

So I got my Mavic back today! Everything was good except for the propellers. They looked like they had grass stains on them. But it booted and I was able to link my controller with ease. I was able to register it with no issues. Now I have to see if this new SN is linked with my care refresh. It is raining today so I can test fly it. I hope tomorrow will be better weather.

Looks like they applied the new SN to my Refresh, so nothing to do there.

I don't know. Mine process seemed to go as well or better than I thought it would.

It looks like I have some non-rain time... I may go see if I can get it up in the air.

Well I did not see anything odd with the video at this time. The Mavic seemed to fly ok for the couple of minutes that I flew it also.

A little off-topic here, but I would have sworn at some point in the past I saw the option for 4k at 30fps (like your video for example), but after the last firmware update to v01.03.0900, I can only see the 24fps option.  What am I missing?

The Mavic did not come with that version of firmware but I know there are two options under the 4K settings. One is 4096x2160 which only has 24fps and 3840x2160 which has 24fps and 30fps.

I will update my firmware tomorrow and see if that other option go away.

KryptoNyte, please switch the Video Standard in Camera Settings. The resolution is different in PAL/NTSC.

Switching between PAL/NTSC did not help - I'm still only able to record 24 fps in 4k.  Is there another setting that I'm missing that will allow 4k @ 30fps?

I'm talking about the highest 4k resolution the device can record:  4096 x 2160.  Can this resolution not do 30 frames per second?

I don't think I was ever able to do 30fps on the highest resolution. I could be wrong though.

so two people in this thread activated dji care refresh for a replacement and both got a refurb-ed unit from what it sounds like.....

i spoke to a dji tech online today and asked twice to confirm whether or not i am getting a new unit, and twice he answered yes ...took screenshots of the convo as well

So don't matter, they can show you a clause that say you will recieve something of equal value. I slowly tested everything including multiple times RTH. No problems with it. Did immediate upgrade firmware on everything.

I talked to one of the techs out there and they said people answering phones don't know everything. Only way you get a new one is if they don't have any refurb ready to go. Chances are very slim.

Go wreck your car not total do you get a new one?
