I have not been active for several months now and can't find where to down load the firmware upgrade. Would someone point me in the right direction so I can enjoy this nice weather we are having here in Tennessee and here my Phantom back in the air.

Another place for good info is www.phantomhelp.com. Click on your aircraft and it will display all sorts of information from software to firmware and everything in between.

Please make sure that the firmware is at the latest version for the remote and the aircraft. Were you able to resolve this issue?

Hey thank you RedHotPoker. As a Captain, I salute you.

If you do upgrade to the latest FW - be patient as it can take over 10-20 mins  it will make loud noises and go completely dark ie no led flash's at one point and the gimbal goes limp - no beeps !! DO NOT !! TURN OFF until you get a solid GREEN non flashing tiny led on the top of the gimbal - the only led that's the indicator that its fully completed
