I am having an issue with the mavic drifting over past where I take off from thinking that the home point is over from where I take off.  Anyone else having the same issue or have any thoughts on what I need to change?  I calibrated the compass a few times and tried to repeat but still having the same issue,

I don't know about internal algorithms used by DJI but common sense tells that because GPS can get you position  accuracy within 5-10 meters and you are probably 15 - 20 meters high so, might be video positioning does not working well at those conditions.

Try to hover at lower altitude and see if you have the same situation.  Or try to clean those two cameras at the bottom.

if you are flying in GPS mode and you're experiencing drifting while hovering, then you need to recalibrate the IMU

Hi chefdrew, like Commodon mentioned, do a IMU calibration, then try to fly it in an open area.

Well it did it again yesterday. Then,when I hit return to home, it returned to the spot where it drifted over to after takeoff.  It seems like the hme point ks being set a little away from where i actually take off from and the drone drifts over to that spot and hovers...
