Hello,

yesterday i tried to fly my new Mavic.
I calibrated the imu, the compass and the controller.

After starting the mavic automatically, he starts flyin. Everthings good.
But i cant move the copter with the sticks on the controller.
The commands on the DJI GO app, they worked.

I started a few tests without the propellers.
I calibrated the controller once again.
In this Video the calibration is shown:
At 1:08 you will see the two circles above, you have to follow.
These two circles appears not in the middel of the square on my Controller and the whole calibration takes much longer than at the Video, ca. 10 times more.

I calibrated the controller a few times. Once i tested the Copter afterwards, i could move the gimbal with the right stick.....?!?!?!?!???

Also, i tried to Change the mode to mode 3.
I really don´t know if the mode 3 is choosed.
In the menue there is a hook on mode3, but the mode1 field is also marked.

The mean Problem is....i have no controll to the mavic with the sticks.
(Once i could start manually (without props)....but now i´am unsure taht the copter will fly normally....)

Thanks for help.........greetings from germany / cologne...Jörg

Try re-linking the controller to the AC.

Just out of curiosity, did the app prompt you to calibrate the IMU and Compass?

If this doesn't work, just factory reset everything.

Hi AACY,

Yes, if you use DJI Assistant you will be able to factory reset both. But I would check first that both, the controller and the AC are binding. So you can run the factory reset of both at the same time.

Hi AACY,

Forgot to mention. In the future so you know, you only do calibrations of any system when the app prompts you to do so. Never do calibrations if the system is not asking for it. You can find this also in the manual.

This could lead to malfunctions, since every single drone comes precalibrated from the factory. I also had the same mindset from the RC Hobby world, but with the Mavic is another story.
