That update is for the RC with integrated screen.

When contacting customer support, they are clueless regarding this issue., no knowledge this "beta" firmware exists. They will recommend you send in your P4P for service, AFTER updating to the latest firmware for  AC and RC.  I'm thinking a factory restore is the way I'm going, bypassing this "beta" update. They claim this issue is caused by hard landings, leaving the gimbal on when flying or accidentally handling the gimbal during boot process. (or allowing the gimbal to hang up on grass during the boot process).  None of which has happened to my P4P.

This is their revenue generating service department at work.

Release a firmware that makes a previously working P4 have 'new' issues and then tell your customers to send it in and get it fixed because there is a hardware problem.

They know what they're doing to us.

If your RC is not the one has built-in screen, you can update it via DJI GO 4. If will remind you when it needs an update.

Hi, I had posted 2 days ago for the beta version of this gimbal noise fix firmware here: https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... =977654&ptid=105192 but see that users on here got the Beta today, and I also PM you? Please can I try this beta to see if it fixes my gimbal noise issue? I see there is a new Pro+ firmware out today, will this mean the P4P version is coming out soon too?

The 4Pro+ FW released the other day is only for the RC as AC are the same, possibly it only contain a new App with some nice features offered in order to push further restrictions on us.

Hi, I am having the same issue described in this feed. My phantom 4 pro when auto calibrating the gimbal gets stuck at 50% and has a loud buzzing sound. Also when flying about half of my footage is un-usable because the gimbal needs constant manual adjustment. I am hoping the beta fix will work for me as well. Thanks for you help! Gimbal noise getting worse every day, now won't get past 6%. Waiting for firmware update but glad I'm still within 15 days, if i no update soon its going back, sucks not even a week old.

Any way of getting this beta anytime soon please? Sucks paying so much money for something your scared to use cause your afraid it will make things worse, plus the vibration makes video annoying to watch.

I had the same thing. Turn the drones face up so the camera is pointing straight up and the drone is leaning on its back motors. Then go to settings and hit the gimbal calibration.

Same issue here - calibrtion gets to 50%.  Bad noise during the process, also getting unexplained intermittent camera vertical swings while flying.  Please send beta info to gomolld@gmail.com.

I have calibrated the IMU on my phantom 4 pro as well as the gimbal calibration (as shown in another post with the camera pointing up). My camera has almost straitened (it is turned slightly left) but it randomly turns to the left and/right. I'm afraid to fly it because I don't know when this might happen. Randomly when I start the drone the camera will go left (more so than right) and then sometimes it will be almost straight again. Before I calibrated the IMU and gimbal the gimbal itself would get hot. Would the beta file be something I should try or not? What can I do to straighten the camera? Being slightly left does not allow the drone to fly straight according to the image. Needless to say, this could get you in trouble if flying in tight quarters. I need your help and advice.

It is said the beta only solves the gimbal vibration and gimbal calibration failed. For your case, did the drone crash before? Would you mind providing me a video for a better confirmation?

Thank you very much, the beta is there now. However, all three firmware versions fail at 28% when trying to update. I'm not sure if this helps the troubleshooting, but the aircraft beeps every 1.5 seconds while powered on. Do you have any other suggestions to get flying again?

Did you get any error message when it failed? Or would you please help to export the upgrade log so I can help to confirm? Here is the route: C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\DJI Assistant 2\upgrade_log.
