I just upgraded my Phantom 4 Pro  firmware to v01.04.0602
Gimbal started buzzing. Tried calibration, but stalled at 50%

Has the Beta solved this issue?
If so, could I get it?

Hello... Messaged ya about getting the beta firmware... Can I be added to the list! My Phantom 4 pro makes that awful vibrating noise and we are getting interference in the video...

Dji Thor, I will soon be a P4P owner.  Is it safe to assume that this is happening to all P4P owners?  I am very concerned.

Hi My P4P is doing the same thing. Does this happen to only certain "batches" of Phantom 4 Pros? I got mine in December of 2016 so I might have an "original batch" unit.

DJI needs to have downgrades available for these type of situations. As it is now, I have a drone that I can’t use and a shoot coming up next week.

I totally agree, also the update should have been taken off until they knew what's going on and perhaps detect during the upgrade if the actual AC are going to get hit by the errors.

I performed teh beta firmware update this morning but sadly, it didn't fix the gimbal buzz. I recalibrated the gimbal 3 times and even the IMU too but with no luck.

It's going back to DJI now. :-(

That sucks.
I upgraded mine and the buzz disappeared while on the bench. I'll keep an close eye on it now after hearing your story.

Phantom 4 Pro+ here. Just completed an update a couple of hours ago, No whining from the gimble before, now its making a very loud whine sound and keeps freezing at 50% everytime I try to calibrate the Gimble. Please could you send the beta to my account aswell?

Brand new P4A - has not seen daylight. I have the gimbal grinding noise right out of box. Seemed to be fine, tried to calibrate, then it went bad. Can you please push the Beta update to nsaadaie@gmail.com - thank you, much appreciated.

I have the problem with the gimbal calibration stuck at 50% as well. Appreciate if you could send the beta to junda07@gmail.com.

Additionally, DJI Assistant 2 v1.1.6 doesn't recognise my P4P controller. It just says unknown device.

Help appreciated.

I am sorry to hear that. Just to verify, you had upgraded to the beta successfully, right? And if you had sent it back, our colleagues will help to take care of it. Hope you can get the drone back the air soon.

I had that same problem after the last firmware update.  I shut everything down and recalibrate it, and it went away.  Weird.

BETA update completed and Gimble noise has completely gone and I was able to calibrate the Gimble to 100%. A massive relief, just hope no damage occurred whilst it was like it.
