I'm having the exact same issue with my Phantom Pro 4 Plus, it fails a gimbal calibration at 50% and makes a buzzing noise and drifts to the left. Is this a software thing that I can fix via a different firmware?

Hi, just to verify, have you updated the firmware to the latest version V 01.05.0300? If the gimbal issue persists, you might need to send the drone in. And for the drone drifts, try to calibrate the IMU and change the props. And please help to confirm if the drone crashes before, send the drone in if it has impact damage to the drone. http://www.dji.com/support

Hello All, I guess I am not alone in this. Went to take my Phantom 4 Advanced out today and it was doing the same thing, annoying buzzing in the gimbal. Of course, like everyone else if you touch it, it stops, let go it goes back to buzzing and after a few minutes it gets warm. I hear the beta seems to help fix this but I can't find it nor can I see it on the Assistant 2 Software. Can someone help me on this. I can provide a video and images if needed.

Hello all
I have a phantom 4 pro that when you start the A/C the gimble stays straight and true . As soon as A/C is moved the gimble turns and starts to oscillate left and right, and the gimble calibration stops at 50% and the gimble gets hot. This started after the last update.

I hope the Beta Version can fix my problems. Could you please sent me the file to my account

Same problem... brand new  PH4 Pro 50% gimbal calibration stuck... I've the latest firmware  (01.05.300) and by DJIi assistant I've restored to fabric but nothing change... I can't calibrate gimbal..

The gimbal vibrates, makes a loud buzz and gets hot. It's very frustrating, the videos are unusable and even the pictures are messed up. Hi Im in dire need of this beta on a phantom 4 I just picked up used that needed an update worked fine until this morning awful noise, heats up, and moves slightly. Sorry for the late reply and the difficulties. However, this beta is for Phantom 4 Adv now. If you are using the Phantom 4, and you had tried calibrating the gimbal and refresh the firmware, I suggest sending the drone in for diagnose. I just received a new Phantom 4 Pro today and been setting things up. I updated firmware to V 01.05.0600 and associated databases. I also decided to do a gimbal calibration and it seemed to hang on 50%. I turned off the aircraft and controller and Go 4 App (V4.2.16). Restarted everything in proper sequence and attempted to calibrate the gimbal once again. This time it worked. I did NOT hear any noise when it hung at 50% the first time. This may not help those experiencing a problem as mentioned above however it does not seem to be a firmware problem.

I will be wrapping it in bubble wrap and launching my first test flight tomorrow.

Please, i have the same problem. I downgraded to .0300 to see if it works.

Why downgrade?.... the fix is in the new firmware also try to calibrate on a level surface....
