Hello....I need help! Just purchase phantom 4 pro...started the firmware upgrades and the gimbal calibration didn't complete ando it now makes horrible buzzing noises. I updated my firmware for a brand new P4P this past week when I received it.  After that gimbal became noisy, gimbal calibration also freeze at 50%. In my case I am doubtful if firmware was fully updated. How can I re-install software?

Had you connect the internet and log in the account you provided? You can also try to access and upgrade the FW via DJI Assistant 2:

My P4P had a gimbal buzz right out of the box w/ no upgraded firmware and the copter itself wobbles when it hovers and sounds noteably louder than my P4 which had none of these issues!  : (

Please try to calibrate the IMU and the gimbal of your P4P, if it still buzzes, would you provide us with your DJI account, we'll release the beta FW to your account to solve this issue.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this comment but I have (had) this gimbal problem.

Subject:  Gimbal Auto Calibration
I have a Phantom 4 Pro  - events log (from my memory)
•        Firmware update from PC
•        IMU calibration from the mobile device
•        Gimbald calibration
•        Got stuck in 50% with a buzz sound
•        Turned unit off (battery)
•        Restarted – starts buzzing
•        Turned off again
•        Turned mobile device off  ( I think)
•        Turned both on again
•        Got a message saying the firmware(?) was inconsistent – (“move slide…”
•        Did the update
•        Turned unit on – no buzz sound
•        DID NOT dare to rerun the gimbal calibration

The dev.status is:
App 4.1.4
Version 01.04.0602
Aircraft database 01.00.01.04
APP database       01.00.01.04
Flight Controller s/n 07JDDBU0010092

Should I redo the gimbal calibration or not ?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this comment but I have (had) this gimbal problem.

Actually, you can calibrate the gimbal or others (like IMU, compass) if you want. That will also be a measurement to see if the drone works as expected. So you can try to calibrate the gimbal to see will it work normally.

Could you please provide us with the screenshot of your drone's firmware version and a video for this case? For firmware version, it is on General Settings--About, you need to connect the drone first. Besides, please try to re-upgrade the drone via DJI Assistant 2 again.

Just to verify, did you use Phantom 4? This firmware is for Phantom 4 Pro, it is not compatible with Phantom 4. Please check.
